Whether you buy your books brand new or second hand from the charity shops. Share your pictures of your latest book haul.

I've been having to buy my books new as I can only get them from supermarkets or online but hopefully all our shops will be opening on 12th April and then I'm hitting the charity shops... hard haha!! Definitely going to try and get a copy of 'The final revival of Opal and Nev' during in April from the new release list. I'll post a picture of my haul when I get it

My first post lockdown haul. Got some fab books!! Lace is a re-read for me but I first read it when I was about 15 so I'm looking forward to reading it again.

Whenever I can, I too get my books from the supermarkets. Tesco and Asda both sell new books for about half the retail price, so I always buy the books I want from them. If they don't have them, I go to Waterstones.
I also like to have a look at "The Works" and garden centres for older books that are sold cheaper there.

I was actually really disappointed with our local The Works. Not a great selection and some of them were more expensive than the supermarkets. I didn't even see any of the 3 for £5 offers. There used to be a branch inside our local garden centre which was loads better but sadly that's closed down now

I think I got all the books I ever wanted from "The Works". And speaking of garden centres: I have noticed - even before the pandemic - that they have shrunk their selection of older books. Where I live, we have a large store (Boundary Mills) where one section is dedicated for jigsaw puzzles and older books. And here I often find what I used to find in the garden centres, and where I get 2 books for a fiver.
