Susanne has performed some marvellous hocus pocus and now our menu bar stays at the top of the page when you scroll down which makes if far easier to navigate around the forum. Thanks Susanne!!  |

I have just done the same on my forum - added a code for the Nav bar - but it doesn't look quite right for me. It looks good on here, but for my forum, it just doesn't feel right. BTW, you want to change the code's width of the theme so it's not longer than the page itself. Oh... and I too have many years experience, having had forums for a long time, and making my own themes rather than using premade ones, and adding codes.  |

The width of the theme is set so it fits every member's computer. Sure you haven't zoomed in?
I have some links to forums where people can find codes for their forums if you are interested. Some can't even be found on Proboards support forum.

No, I don't have it zoomed in. What I am saying is that the width of the nav bar is all the way to either end of the screen - to 100%, but the page is not set to 100%, so it looks a little off. It should align with the rest of the page, starting and ending with the width of the banner and the rest.
And thanks, but I have been collecting PB codes for many years, and have all the ones I need. And I know of the forums that specialise in codes. I don't know if you remember SoCal's forum - he died some years back - and they had a great amount of codes available. Used to be a member there.

Well, yes. That's the one that is now fixed in place. You can call it menu bar, but it's the nav bar. |

I have just been wondering about the nav bar. Since it's stuck at the very top instead below of the banner section, will we be able to see when there is a notification. For example, when we PM someone, will that person see the already tiny number that comes up in a bubble. Because there is now no space for it to appear, unless it actually goes over to the main browser part.
