This book is soooo good!!! Nora's life has been going from bad to worse. Then at the stroke of midnight on her last day on earth she finds herself transported to a library. There she is given the chance to undo her regrets and try out each of the other lives she might have lived. ~ Never underestimate the big importance of small things ~ Just be aware that this book does feature depression and suicide so you may want to avoid this if it's likely to be a trigger for you. Having said this, it is a lovely read that actually is quite positive in it's writing style. The main protagonist, Nora, is just lovely and it's easy to form an emotional attachment to her very early on. This book really gets you thinking about choices you've made in your own life and questioning how things might have turned out differently if you'd made other choices. It's an insightful exploration into mental health and the sense of hopelessness and grief that can lead to despair. The author takes the reader on a journey to a destination that no-one wants to arrive at but thankfully he doesn't leave us there. This book is definitely staying on my bookshelf.
