It is a common train of thought that if you DNF a book, you shouldn't review it. I think this is largely because a book can be completely turned around in a few chapters.
I personally don't have a problem with DNF'ing a book if I'm not enjoying it. I read for pleasure and to persist with a book I'm hating seems rather ludicrous to me. I actually think it's OK to write a review even on books you have DNF'd because why shouldn't you be allowed to share the reason? In fact many times when I have seen reviews of a DNF'd book, it is followed by many people expressing relief about being glad they're not the only one that hated or struggled with it.
So, if you have DNF'd a book, please create a thread and share your reasons why.
