I can't believe it's taken me until now to read this treasure of a book!
This book is full of wisdom that honestly feels way before it's time. The thing that struck me most, struck me really early on in the book was the reminder of how easily we can crush the dreams of children with careless words. When we fail to value what is important to them, when we dismiss their dreams and their creativity, we run the risk of them never reaching their full potential.
This book explores so beautifully the misplaced values of adults so well, it made me long for childhood again. It also made me think about how we protect the people and possessions we love.
A beautiful, thought provoking book that is kind of unforgettable. Loved it!
