Have you ever read a book that has literally had you sitting on the edge of your seat?

I remember when my Son was 5 and recovering from an operation in hospital, I read Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire for the first time. At one point, he was asleep when he was back on the ward, I'd been reading a little while and it was a really dramatic part of the book. I all of a sudden became very aware that I was perched on the edge of my chair and actually looked round to see if anyone had noticed

I can't recall an "edge of my seat" moment, but I have had several "look behind you" moments when I read "The Manitou" by Graham Masterton, and a couple of books from many years ago by Stephen King.
