Let's talk about bookmarkers!! Assuming you don't turn down the corner of your page to hold your place (no judgement here if you do!!  ) Do you have a stash of bookmarkers? Do you have a favourite? Do people always gift them to you at birthdays and Christmas? Pictures welcome  |

Oh... it's sacrilege to turn down the corner of a book. It hurts me just thinking about it. I love books, and by that I mean the feel and look of a book as well as the print. If I see a book in a bookstore that has not been taken care of properly (for example, it has slightly ripped or bend pages / it's yellowed, because it was kept in sunlight), I cringe inwardly.
I don't use a book reader. It would not be the same. It has to be the real thing for me. Soon enough, real books will be a thing of the past, but I hope I won't be around any longer when that happens.
So, anyway... getting back to the topic... LOL I do use bookmarks. I have one that has a 3-D frog version of the 3 monkeys, that show "I see no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil" when you move it about. But instead of monkeys, it's frogs.
Then I have 2 other ones made from metal. One is a cat, and the other one of a woman with the slogan "What women want in bed. Books". And then I have a gold-looking Chinese sign in metal. But I usually just use the 3 frogs one. 😊

Haha Valdy, I agree with you about the desecration of books but i know people who love the feel and appearance of a well used and well loved book which I kind of get too. I just couldn't bring myself to do it myself I am bookmark advocate through and through  My favourite that I'm currently using is the 'just bee-cause' book mark from santoro gorjuss. I also love my Hannah Dunnett bookmarker. Hmm... I have also been know to steal bookmarkers from people in my family who are daft enough to leave them lying about  |

I don't have bookmarks per say. I usually use what I have at hand, used chewing gum paper, receipt you name it. Do plan on making booksmarks for my new book, so I can send them with the book  Found a company in Germany who print various items at a low price. Just ordered a bunch of business cards to see the quality. If I am pleased with the result, I plan on ordering a bunch of booksmarks with the book cover on and other items |
